Acadiana YHEC members understands the importance of educating the general public, especially youths of today, promoting firearms and hunting safety, to enhance marksmanship skills of those  participating in the shooting sports, and to educate the general public about  firearms on educating the general public about firearms in their historic, technological, and artistic context.  Therefore each year members and parents of Acadiana YHEC team up with The Friends of NRA Bayou Teche Committee to host an annual banquet/fundraiser for the NRA Foundation, Inc.    

Its a fun event and there is something for everyone at a Friends of NRA banquet. From the moment you  walk in, the atmosphere is brimming with excitement. Whether you’re keeping an eye on that unique item in the silent auction, trying your luck at the game  tables, or just dining on some delicious food, you’ll be sure to have a good  time.
