Below are pictures from previous years at LAYHEC & NRA Competitions.   You should

be able to identify each by skulls, tracks, furs, feathers  and scat.  Know there classification as an omnivore, carnivore, or herbivore.   Know which animals have antlers and which have horns.   Know the classification of birds as upland, waterfowl or migratory?  Know the difference in drake and hens for waterfowl.  Know if each one is a game or non game animal.  know if the specimen is a protected species.
